I designed a Bauhaus-inspired poster for a fictional seminar about the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals and sustainable consumption. I took inspiration from Bauhaus’ signature geometric shapes and colors, aiming to find a balance between something playful and something that was still clear and easy to read from a distance.
Project Brief:
The assignment was to individually design a poster for United Nations Day 2026, highlighting one of the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals and encouraging people to attend a fictional seminar at Kulturhuset in Stockholm.
We were free to choose a design movement from history, such as Bauhaus, and create our own visual interpretation using vector graphics, typography, color and composition. The process involved research, creating a moodboard, designing the poster in Adobe Illustrator and writing a reflection explaining our design choices based on the course literature.
