A logo concept for Valmont, a fictional clothing brand inspired by alpine adventures. I went with simple, timeless typography and used the letter M to create two stylized mountain peaks. The result was a wordmark and a symbol that could work just as well on their own as they do together, both built around the same visual idea.
Project Brief:
A project in graphic design and digital marketing, focusing on brand identity, visual communication and social media. It started with an individual assignment to develop a logo based on the target audience, the brand’s identity and the overall look and feel we wanted to achieve. The process involved research, typography, symbol design and exploring how the logo would work in different contexts.
In a follow-up group assignment, we developed a fictional digital marketing campaign based on one of the logos created by a group member. This involved analyzing the target audience, developing a campaign strategy, creating key messages and producing content for social media, all with the aim of building a consistent and recognizable visual identity.
